Objective:
Students will gain an understanding of the importance of developing
and maintaining a close relationship with their parent(s), grandparent(s),
guardian or other adult figure.
Supporting Ideas:
- Explain why it is important for each teen to maintain or develop
a close relationship with his or her parents.
- Discuss how we develop relationships with our parents.
- Show how strong parent/pre-teen relationships are advantageous
to both parent and pre-teen.
- Show how strong support from parents, grandparents, etc. affects
our life dreams and goals.
- Show how these relationships relate to a healthy life.
